JEREMY S. RUNIA
Mr. Runia has 15 years’ experience originating, underwriting and managing commercial, and Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) tax credit loans as a senior commercial loan underwriter.
Jeremy has expertise in Low Income Housing Tax Credit Section 42 LIHTC developments, credit risk and liquidity analysis and loan portfolio management. At Parley's Partners, Jeremy focuses on project underwriting, financing and the operational management. His accounting and finance background provide oversight for the execution and creation of operational efficiencies for Parley's Partners' apartment projects.
Most recently, Mr. Runia was Executive Director of the Provo City Housing Authority, where he was directly responsible for all aspects of the annual budget for the quasi-governmental agency. As Executive Director, he administered over of 880 Housing Choice Vouchers, associated with the Housing Authority's apartment portfolio. He oversaw all new developments, including: pre-development, finance structuring, selecting the development team, all contract negotiations, while reporting to a 7-member Board of Commissioners. During this time, he delivered multiple tax credit projects to equity investors.
Mr. Runia graduate from the University of Utah with a degree in Accounting, and is fluent in Spanish.
